Vyborg Shipyard held the Supplier’s Day
The event with participation of ship equipment and component suppliers was held within the framework of the competence center's activity on development of the suppliers’ panel. Vyborg Shipyard was responsible for the Main Machinery Group.
Interested representatives of main manufacturers of foreign and domestic ship equipment and components - Wärtsilä, Schottel, RUSELPROM, Shiprepairing Center Zvyozdochka and Scientific & Production Association Vint as well as representatives of design bureaus – corporate members of United Shipbuilding corporation were invited to participate in the event.
The meeting was aimed at stimulating the development of the product line as well as assisting in solving important issues in the interaction between designers, suppliers and customers.
The Supplier’s Day has become a platform for discussing various issues and problems related to the localization of foreign production in the Russian Federation, developing the suppliers’ panel in civil shipbuilding, optimizing marketing and improving business processes and further analyzing of the results.
