Acceptance certificate signed on delivery of lead processor-trawler Barentsevo More

Vyborg Shipyard PJSC (part of USC) and Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet JSC, which is a part of North West Fishing Consortium, have signed an acceptance certificate on the handover to the Customer of the lead processor- trawler of KMT01 project Barentsevo More.

After the successful sea trials which confirmed and verified the design characteristics of the trawler, the parties signed an acceptance certificate on the handover of the vessel to Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet JSC. Field tests, according to the terms of the shipbuilding contract, will be carried out after the transfer to the Customer directly in the fishing area.

This is the first large-capacity trawler built at a Russian shipyard over the past 30 years to the class of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. In total, four vessels of KMT01 project will be built at Vyborg Shipyard on order of Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet JSC: two of the three more vessels have already been launched, preparations for launching the last one in the series are nearly completed.
