Vyborg Shipyard is developing cooperation with China and Japan
The delegation of Vyborg Shipyard management team attended the International conference and exhibition of marine technologies and shipbuilding - Marintec China 2015. During the conference there were held negotiations intended for strengthening of relations with the Shipyard’s reliable partners as well as on establishing new partner relationships.
Management of Vyborg Shipyard also visited the shipyard of Keppel Nantong for exchanging the experience on advanced grand-blocks construction methodology actively developed at Vyborg Shipyard. During the visit to the shipyard there were held negotiations on possible cooperation within realization of projects on construction of vessels for the Arctic regions development and fishing vessels.
Besides, Vyborg Shipyard delegation visited a number of Kawasaki Heavy Industries plants in Japan in order to familiarize with manufacturing of propulsion units and application of automation and robot technologies in production process. At the meeting there were also discussed prospects of cooperation on the current and potential newbuildings of Vyborg Shipyard.
