At Vyborg Shipyard the icebreaker block was painted by means of dual-component dispenser
The day before at Vyborg Shipyard the icebreaker block was successfully painted by means of dual-component dispenser XP70. Painting was carried out in presence of representatives of the painting device supplier and the International Paint supplier’s inspector.
The dual-component dispenser is a hi-tech alternative for a manual mixing method of dual-component materials. Application of the dispensers of this type provides strong and solid coating and corrosion protection.
All employees of VSY painting shop have been trained and gained operational skills with dual-component dispenser. The next blocks of the icebreakers project 21900 M being under construction at VSY will be painted also by means of this painting unit.
