Vyborg Shipyard JSC launching of tanker «Makhabet» for the Kazakh company " Mobilex Energy " took place
On July, 31st, 2006 Vyborg Shipyard JSC launching of tanker «Makhabet» for the Kazakh company " Mobilex Energy " took place. The vessel is intended for transportation of crude oil and mineral oil in the Caspian sea. The engineering design has been developed by design bureau «Vympel».

Tanker «Makhabet» is the sixth in a series of tankers have constructed and handed over by Vyborg Shipyard JSC for Kazakh customers. The first vessels of given series, «Astana» and «Almaty», have been constructed under the base of project 00210 and have been handed over to the customer in the first half of 2005. Later changes have been made in the project and it have been linked to replacement of slow-speed engine middle-speed one. Two modernized vessels, «Kazakhstan» and «Abay», have been handed over to the customer some months after delivery of two previous ones.
Now at shipyard preliminary work for transfer of tanker " Аktau " to the customer are conducted. Outfitting works on tanker " Маkhabet " will be conducted simultaneously and after obligatory inspection and sea trial course will be transferred to representatives of the Kazakh party.
