On April 27, 2006 at Vyborg Shipyard will be held a ceremony of launching of crude oil tanker «Aktay» for company «Raiffaizen Lising Kazakhstan». Technical project was developed by Design Bureau «Vympel». The ship is intended for transportation of crude oil and oil products in the Caspian Sea. The tankers of this series correspond to all modern requirements to this class of ships.
Main particulars of vessel:
Deadweght — about 12000 t.
Length max. — 149,35 m.
Breadth max. — 17,3 m.
Speed — 10 knots.
After launching of the ship, the final outfitting and necessary trials will be done, and then the ship will be handed over to the Customer.
The tanker «Aktay» is the fifth ship in series of tankers built and delivered at Vyborg Shipyard JSC for Kazakh Customers for the period of 2005-2006.
