Outfitted hull of platform supply vessel (project MT 6009S) by order of Norwegian company «Fitjar Mekaniske Versted AS» was launched
On February 17, 2006 at Vyborg Shipyard was launched outfitted hull of platform supply vessel (project MT 6009S) by order of Norwegian company «Fitjar Mekaniske Versted AS».
Final outfitting of vessel will be done in Norwey.
Main particulars of vessel:
Length — 69,5 m
Breadth — 16,4 m
Draft — 6,1 m
Deadweight — about 2600 t.
The vessel is intended for servicing of offshore platforms in wide climate conditions.
There is a huge load deck, tanks for balk and liquid cargo in hull, diesel generator, aft and fore thrusters in vessel.
It is planned that in 2006 Vyborg Shipyard delivers additionally several hulls of supply vessels to Customers in Western countries.
