Vyborg Shipyard took part in the Exhibition Neva 2005
From 26.09. till 29.09.2005 Vyborg Shipyard took part in the Exhibition Neva 2005, which was in LenExpo, Saint-Petersburg. It is the 8-th International Exhibition on shipbuilding, navigation, activity of ports, ocean and shelf exploration.
One of the project, that provoked the most interest of the visitors of the exhibition, was crude oil and oil products tanker with 12 000 t. deadweight, the series of which are successfully under construction at Vyborg Shipyard for the Caspian Sea by the order of companies «Mobilex Energy» and «Kazmortransflot».
The other big project, presented on the exhibition was floating semi-submersible drilling rig «Shelf», intended for exploration of gas and oil fields.
There were also presented projects for port fleet, namely: port tugboat and oily water & refuse collecting vessel, that provoked interest of ports representatives.
During Exhibition the Vyborg Shipyard stand was visited by Russian Federation Minister of Transport, who spoke to the management of the shipyard and interested in current projects and perspectives of future development of the shipyard.
Exhibition’ s results was making of new business contacts both with Russian and foreign Customers, who sent quite a lot of enquires concerning fabrication of vessels of different types at Vyborg Shipyard.
