Ceremony of keel laying of supply vessel for drilling rigs
On May 3, 2005 at Vyborg Shipyard there was ceremony of keel laying of supply vessel for drilling rigs. The Customer is Norwegian company — Aker, the ship will be outfitted in shipyard of AKER BREVIK AS in Norway.
The ship is under construction taking into account the possibility to use it in climate zones according to all modern requirements for exploration of oil and gas offshore fields. The ship is capable to transport pipes, cement solution, equipment for rigs and exploration platforms and barges of pipe-laying vessels, and also other cargoes.
Hanging over of the ship’s hull to the Customer is planned on August, 2005.
