Trawler Norvezhskoye More went on sea trials
The second large-capacity trawler project KMT01 Norvezhskoye More built at Vyborg Shipyard (part of USC) went on sea trials in the Baltic Sea.
In the trials there will be tested all systems and installations of the vessel, as well as compliance of actual performance with design characteristics. The trawler was laid down on January 29, 2018, launched on May 17, 2019.
The series of 4 large-capacity trawlers project KMT01 has been built at VSY for Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet JSC (part of North West Fishing Consortium NP). The lead vessel Barentsevo More was handed over to the customer in September 2020, and currently is successfully fishing in the North Basin, the area of the Spitsbergen archipelago. The vessels of this series are intended for demersal species fishing and on-board producing headless and gutted fish, fillets, cod roe and liver, fish meal and fish oil.
