Vyborg Shipyard lays keel for a new freezer trawler
Vyborg Shipyard (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) held a keel-laying ceremony for the Project KMT02.03 freezer trawler. The customer - LKT COMPANY (part of FOR Group).
The guests were greeted by the Deputy General Director of Vyborg Shipyard Andrey Leonidovich Popov: “There is still a long way ahead which we have to walk along together. We would like to thank the customer for entrusting us with building three vessels of his fishing program. We assure you that Vyborg quality will fully satisfy the expectations and requirements of the customer. Good luck to this ship! "
The chairman of the board of directors of the FOR Group Dmitry Germanovich Kozharsky noted: “The fleet is the brainchild of the country, creation of the company. Certainly, now we have to work in rather hard times, but I hope that this creation will live a long, successful life and bring joy to everyone. I congratulate all of you on this event! "
After the welcoming words, a laying nameplate was attached on a hull section. Then the rite of consecration of the section was served by archpriest Vyacheslav Nikitin.
