Vyborg Shipyard took part in the International Exhibition "Neva-2015"
Representatives of Vyborg Shipyard PJSC, a corporate member of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, took part in the International Exhibition and Conference on civil shipbuilding, shipping, port activities, ocean and offshore development - "Neva-2015". This year within the exposition of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) stand the Shipyard demonstrated models of vessels that are planned for construction in the near future: Icebreaking support vessels project Arc130A and Port Icebreaker project Arc124.
By results of negotiations held by VSY management at the exhibition there was signed a Contract with company ABB for delivery of the equipment for Port Icebreaker project Arc124 which customer is FSUE "Atomflot". Besides, the Contract signing with the company Wärtsilä has been agreed. According to the Contract Wärtsilä will supply main engines for Port Icebreaker project Arc124 in order to increase total capacity of the vessel propulsion complex and its icebreaking capability.
Within the Neva exhibition there was held the official ceremony of lifting the National Flag on the prototype Icebreaker "Vladivostok" project 21900M built by order of Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport of Russia. In October, 2015 after completion of sea-trials the vessel will be delivered to the Customer.
It should be noted that Vyborg Shipyard as one of the leading Russian civil shipbuilding company is a permanent participant of the Neva International Exhibition. Totally this year more than 500 leading shipbuilding companies from 32 countries of the world demonstrated their products.
