Readiness of Trawler Norvezhskoye More is over 98%
Second serial trawler Norvezhskoye More, project KMT01, which is under construction at Vyborg Shipyard (part of USC), is more than 98% completed.
Finish painting works, equipment commissioning is underway, cladding of cabins and other premises is at the final stage. The trawler is getting ready for sea trials, which are planned for the near future in the Baltic Sea.
The series of four trawlers has been built at VSY since 2017, the customer is Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet JSC (part of North West Fishing Consortium NP). The large-capacity processor trawlers with fully waste-free production are intended for fishing bottom fish and producing headless and gutted fish, fillets, cod roe and liver, fish meal and fish oil right on board. The vessels will be equipped with a full-cycle factory for fish processing and freezing and state-of-the-art trawl complex. The lead ship Barentsevo More was handed over by Vyborg shipbuilders in September 2020.
