For the first time at Vyborg Shipyard JSC there was performed loading of the riser lower protection
After launching of the right and left pontoons of NB106 the specialists of the shipyard performed works on erection afloat of the second level of pontoon columns.
Also during construction of SSFDR at Vyborg Shipyard for the first time there was performed loading of the riser lower protection that will provide trouble-free platform operation and will protect the equipment (drill) from damages by ice in the course of drilling.
The next stage in platform construction is execution of works on erection of K-bracing linking the pontoons. At the present works on installation of the second K-bracing on the aft deck are being executed. In the near future there will be carried out installation of four diagonal bracings.
