Start of steel cutting for trawler KMT02 at Vyborg Shipyard
Today, Vyborg Shipyard PJSC (part of United Shipbuilding Corporation) started steel cutting for a fishing vessel project KMT02 (NB 940).
On April 8, steel cutting for a fishing vessel project KMT02 was started at Vyborg Shipyard. The trawler is built on order of ATLANTRYBFLOT JSC (part of FOR Goup).
In total, 4 trawlers KMT02 will be built at VSY, two of them are contracted by ATLANTRYBFLOT JSC. The first trawler (NB 950) was laid down at the shipyard on November 1, 2018.
Ice3 class trawler with hull reinforcement to Arc4 class equipped with trawling complex of latest generation is intended for fishing demersal species. On-board equipment with planned catch and year round freezing capacity up to 100 tons of fish per day, as well as combined holds 375 cubic meters for marine products.
