Vyborg Shipyard delivered to the Customer outfitted steel blocks of supply vessel UT 745
On April 5, 2004, Vyborg Shipyard delivered to the Customer outfitted steel blocks of supply vessel UT 745 being under construction at Aker Langsten, Norway.
Vyborg Shipyard won the tender since delivery time was critical for the Customer and none of Polish, Romanian and Baltic shipyards was ready to undertake building of this order in so short time.
Vyborg Shipyard built the blocks with excellent quality and in the contract dates. Due to high workmanship and short delivery time Vyborg was trusted to build the most elaborated parts of the vessel: blocks of fore body, three and four level blocks of superstructure.
Vyborg Shipyard performed 70 % of the supply vessel hull construction works at a unit price of USD 3.2 per kilo.
At the present time Vyborg Shipyard is negotiating with the Norwegian shipyard a contract on building of a series of similar vessels
