The trawler is intended for catching fish and seafood in the Northern sea. This vessel in its class will be biggest of ever built and represents a newly developed concept in which safety and convenience of the crew is of the utmost importance. In-built net bin makes it possible for the crew to work in a warm heated room in any weather conditions. Maximum speed of the vessel is over 20 knots to deliver fish alive to consumers in the shortest time. The hull form is specially designed so that the vessel can develop maximum speed at low fuel consumption. Alive fish will be held in RSW tanks. The vessel has no cargo hatches and all raw products will be pumped out directly to the processing factory. It will help to avoid pollution at unloading fish. Instead of a usual bow thruster the vessel will be equipped with an azimuthal thruster which will be used at fishing and also as an emergency power plant.
Vyborg Shipyard has completed a large scope of works on hull outfitting: installation of main equipment components (main engine, auxiliary engine, thrusters etc.), electrical installations (ladders, starters, fixtures, cable laying etc.).
