VSY management took part in the meeting with Vice-Governor of the Leningrad Region
Management of Vyborg Shipyard (a corporate member of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) took part in the meeting dedicated to discussions on development of shipbuilding industry of the Leningrad region. The meeting was held the day before in the Leningrad region Government House under the chairmanship of Vice-Governor of the Leningrad region Dmitry Yalov.
First Deputy General Director of Vyborg Shipyard Kirill Voroshilov made a report defining the perspective projects and plans of the Shipyard as well as pointed out the necessity of the state support for the Russian shipbuilding enterprises. Representatives of management team of the United Shipbuilding Corporation and Pella Shipyard also took part in the meeting having presented their reports. Furthermore, the attendees discussed ways of cooperation with the colleagues from the Crimea, in the name of the Crimea shipyards there was charged to speak Elena Elekchyan, Head of industrial complex development department of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea.
At the end of the meeting there was discussion on possibility to establish an innovative shipbuilding cluster in the Leningrad region.
