Meeting with Vice-Governor of the Leningrad Region at Vyborg Shipyard
On June 4, 2014, at Vyborg Shipyard there was discussion on development of shipbuilding industry of the Leningrad region. The meeting attended by business managers, representatives of public organizations and the region government was chaired by Vice-Governor of the Leningrad region, chairman of the Committee for economic development and investments Dmitry Yalov. «Two years ago we held a similar meeting where we discussed prospects for further development of shipbuilding sector. Since than situation at Vyborg Shipyard has improved, particularly, inflow of orders has become steady», — noted Dmitry Yalov.
General Director of Vyborg Shipyard Alexander Solovyev defined a range of problems of domestic shipbuilding and informed on the current and perspective projects of Vyborg Shipyard. After the discussion the attendees visited production shops and looked over the launched icebreaker Vladivostok.
