Lead ship of the series of multipurpose platform supply vessels "Vitus Bering" ordered by Sovcomflot Group was accepted for operation on 21st December 2012.

On 26th December the official ceremony of keel-laying of the next serial icebreaker project 21900 took place at Vyborg Shipyard. The vessel is under construction by the order of Federal Agency of Marine and River Transport.
