Vyborg Shipyard JSC solemn ceremony of transfer of tanker «Аktau» to representatives of company «Reiffeisen Leasing Kazakhstan»
On August, 10th, 2006 Vyborg Shipyard JSC solemn ceremony of transfer of tanker «Аktau» to representatives of company «Reiffeisen Leasing Kazakhstan» will take place. Mooring and sea trails were conducted which have shown availability of its transfer to operation. In the further the vessel will be directed to homeport on the Volgo-Baltic waterway where it will start transportation of petroleum and mineral oil among terminals of the Caspian Sea.
Tanker «Aktau» is the fifth, constructed within the limits of cooperation of Vyborg Shipyard JSC with the Kazakh companies and the third for company «Kazmortransflot» which will be the operator of given vessel.
Earlier, on July, 31st, 2006, the sixth vessel in the given series tanker «Makhambet» has been launched. Now the vessel is at outfitting quay of the yard where outfitting works and sea trial are conducted. Delivery of the vessel is planed for October, 2006.

The engineering design is developed by design bureau «Vympel». Principal dimensions of vessel are collated so that to ensure maximal cargo capacity to it on the basis of conditions of area operation shallow water and an opportunity of single pass on the Volgo-Baltic waterway. The tanker of given series is constructed in view of all modern requirements of vessels shown to given type and are stocked by the equipment of the best European firms-manufacturers that allows to speak about them as about the best in the class.
