Launching of PSV’s «SBS TORRENT » for Norwegian company «Karmsund Maritime Services AS» hull took place
On November, 21st, 2006 at Vyborg Shipyard JSC launching of PSV’s «SBS TORRENT » for Norwegian company «Karmsund Maritime Services AS» hull took place. Engineering design VS 470 MKII has been developed by Norwegian engineering company « Vik-Sandvik AS ».
Vessel has the following characteristics:
LOA — 73,4 m;
Breadth — 16,6 m;
Depth up to main deck — 7,6 m;
Maximum draught — 6,5 m;
DWT — aprox. 3550 t.
After completion on shipyard «Karmsund Maritime Services AS» the vessel will be registered to port Aberdeen.
Now between "Karmsund Maritime Services AS» and Vyborg Shipyard JSC negotiations on construction in Vyborg several more vessels are being carried on.
